If you’re visiting Rome for the first time, I personally think a Rome bus tour is one of the easiest ways to start exploring the city. Rome is full of historical landmarks, and many of them are spread out across different areas. Walking everywhere can take a lot of time and energy, especially if you’re only staying for a few days.
When I visited, I tried one of the Rome bus tours, and it really helped me understand the layout of the city. The biggest advantage is that you can see many famous attractions in a short amount of time.
Most travelers prefer the Hop On Hop Off Rome buses because they allow you to get off at major landmarks like the Colosseum, Vatican, and Trevi Fountain, then hop back on whenever you’re ready to continue.
