I’ve been looking at a 2021 BMW M340i from a private seller and the price seems decent but the car has done 90k km which feels a bit high for a three year old car. The seller says it’s mostly highway miles and service history looks okay from the dealer stamps, but I’m not confident enough to just hand over cash without a proper once over. A few people told me that a general inspection won’t catch things like boost leaks or worn suspension bushings specific to these cars, so I’m hoping to find a shop that really knows what to look for. I heard about a place offering a proper Car Inspection Service BMW Dubai that includes compression testing and checking for any hidden tunes or overrevs in the ECU. Has anyone here used a specialist for a pre purchase check and did it save you from a bad buy? Also curious if they can spot things like accident repairs that aren’t on the report because body filler and mismatched paint can hide a lot. I don’t mind paying a few hundred dirhams if it saves me from a money pit later.
